| Education Practice Areas Associations Courts About Jordan Monsour Mr. Monsour’s focus is on commercial transactions. He is experienced in representing real estate developers and businesses in connection with the use of federal and state tax incentives, both locally and throughout the U.S., including historic rehabilitation tax credits, new markets tax credits, real estate syndications, enterprise zone reimbursements, restoration tax abatements, accelerated depreciation, and bond financing, as well as financing programs administered and insured by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. He has assisted clients in addressing complex issues in connection with financing such transactions with the use of combinations of various tax incentives and the organization and taxation of corporate and pass-through entities. Mr. Monsour has represented various developers, brokers, consultants, investors and owners in many aspects of commercial, multifamily and single family development, including the negotiation and drafting of documents for the acquisition, ownership, development, leasing and sale of hotels, apartment complexes, gym facilities, shopping centers, condominiums and residential neighborhoods, the conversion of rental units into condominiums for resale, the creation and modification of building restrictions and the organization of property owners’ associations, and the formation of partnerships and limited liability companies in connection therewith. He has also represented various clients before local planning and zoning commissions and city councils throughout the State of Louisiana regarding zoning changes, permitting, variances, subdivision issues, regulatory approvals and other land use matters. Additionally, Mr. Monsour represents clients and business
in connection with their various general business matters and contract
work. He has experience in government contracting work and compliance
with the Federal Acquisition Regulations. |
